Censored Word Check

The censor function of Word Splash Pro allows you to specify words that should never appear in a puzzle.  The censor will inspect both your word list and the finished puzzle grid for both intentional and accidental use of the words specified.

To start using the censor simply access the Censor Words item under the Options menu.  The Censored Words Window will be displayed so that you can enter your censored words and assign the type of censoring to implement.

You can choose three types of censoring. You can manually process the censor only when you want, you can have the software always warn you about censored words, or you can have the software automatically delete censored words and force puzzles to be regenerated if they form in the grid and cannot be removed by changing the noise characters.

If you specify that Word Splash Pro should only warn when a censored word is found, then a note will appear on the screen specifying that the word should be removed from the list, but it will not be automatically removed. If the censored word is found in the puzzle grid then a window will appear listing all of the found censored words and it will show where they are in the grid when the word is clicked.
